Neymeen Roast ( Seer Fish Roast )

INGREDIENTS
 
1/2 kg Neymeen ( seer fish )
1/2 cup Onion ( finely chopped)
2 tsp Ginger paste
2 tsp Garlic paste
3 nos Chilli
3 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 nos Tomato (finely chopped)
2 springs Curry leaves
3 tbsp Coconut oil
2 tbsp Cashew nuts (paste)
Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
 
Heat oil in a pan and add the salt and onions to it. Saute well until the oil rises to the top. Keep this aside.
Pour some oil into a frying pan and saute ginger and garlic until it is lightly browned. Add the chilli powder to this and heat it well.
Add green chilli and curry leaves to it and transfer to the sauteed onions. Add the fish pieces to the gravy, on a low flame and stir well. Add water and then add the chopped tomatoes. Once the fish get cooked well.
Add the cashew nut paste and cook until the gravy thickens.
