Chicken Kuruma / Chicken Koruma –


CUISINE

INGREDIENTS
 
400 gm Chicken (cut into small pieces)
1 nos Onion (sliced)
3/4 cup Frozen green peas
200 gm Cauliflower (flowers separated)
2 inch Ginger (crushed)
6 cloves Garlic (crushed)
3 nos Green chilly (slit)
1 nos Lemon juice
3/4 tsp Chilly powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Pepper powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Cumin powder
3/4 cup Coconut milk
little Mace
2 tbsp Cooking oil
1 spring Curry leaves
Salt to taste
little Cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS
 
In a bowl, add curry powders and lemon juice. mix well.
Rub the mix on chicken pieces, keep for half an hour. cook it in a little water, keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add onion saute well. onion till translucent, add ginger, garlic, mace and half curry leaves till stir aroma spreads.
Add cauliflower, cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
Add green peas, green chilly, cooked chicken, mix well.
Add coconut milk, adjust salt and add balance curry leaves.
Transfer to serving bowl garnish with cilantro.
